The paleo diet refers to eating natural, real food that is unprocessed. In layman’s terms, eat the way nature intended us to eat. The paleo diet really focuses on the way our distant ancestors ate millions of years ago.

So you may be wondering how the paleo diet increases results for avid dieters. The main reason people are achieving success with paleo is because it turns the body into a fat-burning machine rather than burning carbs. With the paleo diet excluding carbs, it is a lot easier for the body to burn through fats.

Fats are our fuel and are burned slowly from our bodies to use when needed. By consuming carbohydrates, our bodies burn carbs rather than fat. This becomes a much longer process.
